To ALL PRESIDENTS - 2007 WORLD REPORT 2^nd July 2007

To NABBA Greece:
Thank you for all your hard work in putting on the 2007 NABBA International Inc World Championships.

The venue was in Sparta Greece and the setting in the Sparta Square was MAGNIFICENT. The high quality of the athletes set the scene for a first-class show.
The weather was hot at 37ºC and a large audience of approximately 4-5 thousand people turned up. It was amazing to see so many people at the show. The crowd got what they came for - to see the Best in the world compete for World Titles, great bodies, great music and a fabulous night of entertainment.

82 entries were received for the 2007 World Champs, but due to Visa Entry problems teams from Morocco, Algeria and the Philippines were unable to make it. The U.K. team also did not arrive. New countries at the Worlds were Iran (1), and also and delegate from Canada, but no athletes this time around.
On the good side of the Championships was the high quality of the Athletes, with Spain showing the way, and very good teams from France and New Zealand. Our numbers were down this year as expected, with 59 athletes present and 23 athletes who did not make it due to circumstances beyond their control.
